In 2009, the estimated amount of people who have HIV is at 57,900 people. With those people, a great amount of them are getting help and receiving antiretroviral combination therapy. In brothels there are 100% condom campaigns everywhere to ensure that HIV/AIDS will not spread even further. The original target rate for this goal was 2.3%. Little by little this goal is almost in Cambodia's grasp because right now the HIV/AIDS rate is at 1.6% in 2000 to 2009.
