Malnutrition and poverty is a big problem in Cambodia, however it is happy to start off by saying that poverty and hunger's rate is decreasing in Cambodia. MDG, National Poverty Reduction Strategy, National Population Policy and other organizations helped Cambodia to become a healthier and happier country. In 2004, the poverty rate in Cambodia is at 35.1% and just last year the poverty rate decreases to 22.7%. It is slowly decreasing and as time pass by poverty and hunger wouldn't be a problem at all, hopefully. The standing of this goal is looking pretty good so this is not really a big problem in Cambodia. Like it was mentioned earlier, it is slowly getting better even if it's just baby steps.
